Rev. David Alicea has been our Pastor since June 7, 2004. We received him and his family composed by Mayra Resto (wife) and Benjamin Alicea (son). The latter is a college student in Fullerton and is a Contemporary Christian singer. We encourage you to see his page for invitations. Mayra Resto is a Coordinator in a Hispanic agency called Latino Health Access in Santa Ana. There she works to meet all the Hispanics medical needs as they visit home by home, educating and encouraging them to get medical attention.
The Alicea’s ministry in Garden Grove has been a blessing shared with our church members as well as our community. This year’s goal is to bring in more unchurch people in an innovative and pleasant outreach style. Meeting people’s needs as we speak the language of the heart is the motto! Together we have initiated a journey of growth in our church that seeks to develop leadership as well as programs for our community.
Our Sunday services at 10:00 am adds to our weekly services like Bible Study night, choir rehearsal, Disciples Women’s meeting, Esther Group, Child and Mother ministry, and much more a family tone with a high sense of social and spiritual commitment. We are looking forward to enhance the Kingdom of God in our lives in a practical and pertinent way in our daily chores and simple things in life.

In conjunction with our Pastor’s leadership we are seeking to create and establish new forms of integral worship that produces leaders aware of their call and need to serve. One core element in our worship service is our new big screen with a projector that provides slideshow presentations which motives and inspires our worship order adding color and inspiration.
Benjamin a former Orange County School of Arts graduate, shares his love and passion for the Lord as he sings contemporary songs that delights and fills our hearts with new and refreshed grace of God. Mayra also provides help with our Children’s contemporary service, where children are taught to worship and serve the Lord at their level and in their context. As you can see we are trying to interpret and make real God’s experience in our lives. We are a family oriented church who welcomes with open heart any person.
